Five Criterias to be Great Leaders

NOT easy being a leader. You must be ready to go against the flow and take bold steps against the opposition. One thing is for sure, it needs courage to do things that do not dare to be done by others.

Type of courage like this coming from someone assertive character. Be strong and courageous at the opportunity to pass, is a way to carve your name in history.

Well, here are five characters that need to be owned by a leader who can help you rise to the top:


1. Respect people if you want to be respected
The first rule of a leader associated with respect. Took power through a proper way to do it more feasible compared with cunning ways and all-hanky-panky. Thus, employers who have served longer would be more support and respect you. Meanwhile, people who are younger will be very happy if you get a chance to learn from your experience.

Remember, showing respect does not mean you must become a 'licker'. That means you must be firm and consider the needs of the organization. Most importantly, never let subordinates misinterpret your kindness as a weakness.

2. A wrong decision is better than doubt
Efforts to seize power at once can create a polarized outcome. In some cases, a major decision in life to bring recognition, maybe even glory.

If you struggle too long to make a decision, others will take over the job from you. As an employer, you must create enough of a sense of reluctant subordinates so that will not betray you dare. Using the power and control do not necessarily authoritarian. However, there must be clarity of who is entitled to and responsible for taking a decision.

3. Do not attack unless forced to
An effective leader capable of inhibiting the progress of removing various organizations. During your career, perhaps there will be obstacles that arise along the way and hamper your steps. As a leader, you should be able to keep the remains of organizational life running smoothly. One way of providing equal treatment for everyone, from CEO to janitor at night.

Act as a supervisor of fun. If someone is inhibiting the performance of companies, give him the spirit and support. If he still remains an obstacle, give little pressure. If still not successful, you may need to consider other more effective ways.

4. Take a chance and try to
In life, there are many crossroads moment when someone had to decide whether he will take the opportunity or be satisfied through a 'footnote' in the history of other people.

History is a compilation of intersection between the people who made the right choice, and the people who make the wrong choice. To be known, you must be a people who dare to take a chance and try.

5. Work harder than others
Without hard work, you will never become a leader. If you always wanted to do more, always working to achieve a goal, then the time you invest will create an opportunity for you.

When you successfully become a leader, everyone would want to be like you. They will make you as a role model. When the moment comes, keep your head up and continue to keep a job. Therefore, respect can evaporate quickly
